Google Chrome is Google’s take on the web browser. It came out last Fall. I have been very happy with Firefox for a long time now. However, I started having random freezes through out the day, several times a day. I still haven’t figured it out (add ons disabled).
Anyways, I tried Google Chrome out. Yep, just as advertised. It is really fast. It certainly not feature laden but it is fast. However, the biggest gripe I had with it is the javascript. One of the sites I visit non stop is www.walkmyplank.net which has a lot of javascript. It was painful!
After trying out the new update this morning it just flies! It’s officially a 30% increase in speed. I’m very happy for this fix and it will definitely increase my conversion to Chrome over Firefox.
