Once I receive an answer to this I will post it. Until then, I am stuck like everyone else. Many people have posted on Apple’s forums about this issue and no one has found a solid answer to the problem.
Problem: Ipod displays “Please Wait. Very Low Battery” when plugged into the computer via USB. The iPod is stuck on that screen and it won’t charge.
I can plug it into a wall jack or a car and it will work but as soon as you disconnect it the battery immediately dies.
I’m hoping someone has a solution. There have been a few suggestions posted but they have not worked for this specific situation.
